LifePalette

A personal collection of experiences, memories, feelings, observations, stories, sensory details, images, quotations, fragments, poems, metaphors, lines, family lore, and other meaningful details — kept within reach for later creating, communicating, reflecting, speaking, writing, or making meaning.

“Awareness notices the color. The LifePalette keeps it within reach. The Studio mixes and works with it. The Gallery shows what you made.”
Entries are fragments, not finished work — none need a Project or Studio yet Refining

Hello, It’s Me — Age 14

Memory / story fragment

Sitting in the window seat, knees up, listening to a cassette recording of my own voice — half embarrassed, half delighted. Not a finished story; a color kept on the palette.

Rain on the tin roof

Sensory detail

The specific drumming sound and the smell of dust lifting. Useful whenever a piece of writing needs weather that feels earned.

“We kept what kept us.”

Family lore / line

Something a grandmother said about moving house. May belong in the Library’s quotations shelf eventually; kept here as live material.

Image / observation

A painted door seen once and photographed badly. The color keeps returning in studio decisions.

Where the Palette sits

Decided

A useful flow, not a rule: material may stay dormant on the Palette indefinitely and be reused whenever it becomes useful.

Not the LibraryThe Library is primarily what the LifeArtist learns from — books, research, references, sources. Quotations may link to the Library’s quotations shelf rather than being duplicated on the Palette.

Not a StudioStudios are where material is actively mixed, developed, written, designed, or rehearsed. The Palette only keeps it within reach.

Capture freely. Commit deliberately.Palette entries are kept, not committed. An intention/action system holds only what the LifeArtist has decided to act on in the foreseeable future.
