LifeArts Studio · Working document

Business Plan

A working plan, not investor copy. It records only what has actually been established, and marks everything else as studying or an open question so provisional choices never start to look settled.

01 Decided

Concept & Purpose

  • LifeArts Studio develops LifeArts as a creative practice for intentionally designing and living one's life.
  • The Practice is the work. The Studio is the business that develops, publishes, sells and supports the Practice.
  • LifeArts Studio is planned as a DBA under SewellArts LLC.
  • The private LifeArts Canvas / OS prototype is a development laboratory, not the public product.
02 Open question

Audience

  • Not yet defined beyond people drawn to designing and living life deliberately.
  • Publishing now is partly a way to discover who the audience actually is.
03 Studying

Offer / Product Ladder

  • The Manual — the major long-form work.
  • Folios — half-letter format.
  • Starter Signatures — Welcome, Sketchbook, Blank Journal.
  • Printables and digital tools.
  • Later: related physical products and accessories.
  • One physical product is nearing readiness.
04 Refining

Content & Publishing Strategy

  • Begin publishing useful and interesting LifeArts subjects before the Manual is finished.
  • A regular Monday Momentum-style post rhythm.
  • Publishing now also develops and tests Manual material and begins building an audience.
  • The Manual likely takes the rest of 2026 to develop.
05 Studying

Sales Channels

  • The near-ready physical product may be sold first through Etsy.
  • Later sales may move to the LifeArts website, possibly Shopify — still to be decided.
06 Studying

Marketing & Community

  • Establishing LifeArts social media presence is an immediate priority.
  • “Circle” is the current term for the community or group.
  • lifearts.studio and LifeArtsStudio.com are brand and domain assets.
07 Open question

Revenue Model

  • Nothing established. Revenue is expected from published works and products above, in a mix not yet decided.
08 Refining

Development / Launch Roadmap

  • Rest of 2026: develop the Manual.
  • In parallel: publish regularly, establish social presence, develop the website.
  • Bring the near-ready physical product to sale.
09 Decided

Immediate Priorities

  • Establish LifeArts social media presence.
  • Develop the website.
  • Begin the regular publishing rhythm.
10 Open question

Open Questions

  • Etsy first, then website — or straight to the website?
  • Shopify or something else for selling?
  • How the Circle is actually hosted and run.
  • What sits at each rung of the product ladder, and at what price.
