Architecture
The LifeSpiral describes movement through life and creative work. Working Environments are places that support that movement. They are related, but they are not the same structure.
LifeSpiral
◐ RefiningMovement / process — not an information filing hierarchy.
Ambient and ongoing. Never only a first step.
An ambient influence around the Spiral; its language is still being explored.
- 01
Awareness
The faculty that notices. Rocks, Ideas, observations, squirrels.
- 02
Four Dimensions of Life
Health, Growth, Security, Connection — what is noticed may touch several at once.
- 03
LifeRole
Who you are while attending to it.
- 04
Creative Compass
Creative navigation toward purposeful work.
- 05
Studio
Where purposeful work is developed and continuity preserved.
- 06
Gallery
What has reached a meaningful state of completion, expression, or sharing — and may feed the Spiral again.
Gallery can renew Inspiration; the Spiral turns again with new Awareness. Share is not necessarily an endpoint.
Working Environments
● DecidedSupport / location — not sequential stages. Library and Archive never sit in the Spiral.
Awareness
Notices what enters attention before classification. A capture tool or Inbox records what Awareness notices.
Active workStudios
Active fields of purposeful work that preserve context and continuity.
RetrievalLibrary
Reference material organized so it can be found again.
ExplorationSketchbooks
Places for Study, experimentation, annotation, and developing ideas.
Visual workbenchIllustrations
A visual inventory for collecting, inspecting, and later assigning visual assets.
Creative resourcesLifePalette
A personal collection of lived and creative material kept within reach for later making and meaning.
CurationGallery
A curated selection of work that has reached a meaningful state of completion, expression, or sharing — not a terminal destination.
RetentionArchive
Inactive or completed material retained without crowding active work.
“Capture freely. Commit deliberately.”
Awareness notices; an Inbox or capture tool records. Captures are welcome, commitments are chosen. LifePalette keeps material worth preserving, while an intention/action system holds only what the LifeArtist has decided to act on.
